Sheringham Firework Display

The annual firework display was a great success, raising almost £1,000. Thank you to everyone who came to either help with the event or supported the evening with their family and friends.

1940's weekend 21st- 22nd September

Members of the Scout Troop supported this year's event on the North Norfolk Railway acting as Marshalls for the temporary public car park adjacent to Weybourne Station. Setting out the car park, directing traffic, and offering directions to the public were just some of the chores. For those who took part it helped towards their Community Challenge Award. The NNR provided free travel passes during the weekend as well as refreshments from various food outlets.

Reasons to Celebrate

The Scout Group have had much to celebrate in recent

weeks. At the ever popular District Scout Activities Camp members of the Scout Troop

did very well, with Hayden Judd-Phillips, Angus Colclough, Archie Compton

Davey, and Leon Gardiner taking first place in the Orienteering, whilst Sam

Mayell, Sam Sadler and Tom Smith came first in the Pioneering. Not to be

outdone, the youngest members, Liam McKean, Thomas Eltringham, and Sam Nurse

came first in the Rafting.

At the recent District AGM the Group received in front of

members of the 13 other District Groups an acknowledgement of their hard work

with an Outstanding Achievement Award to the Cub Pack, and a Group

Growth Award for growing membership overall.
