i was in your scout group in the 50s our scoutmaster was a super chap called fletcher i joined the royal navy in 1957 from the local orphanage at 15 yrs. he was the only person to see me off on the early morning train he presented me with my queens scout badge and gave me a shilling for a cup of tea so i went into the big wide world not totally destitute i'll never forget his moment of kindness.
